Team Manager - CPQ

The opportunity:

As a CPQ Team Manager, you will lead a team focused on developing, enhancing, and supporting CPQ solutions that enable sales teams to configure products, generate accurate pricing, and produce high-quality quotations quickly. You
will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, IT, and product management, to ensure the CPQ platform meets evolving business needs and delivers measurable improvements in sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.

How you'll make an impact:

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of CPQ developers, architects, and analysts. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Project & Resource Management: Plan and allocate resources efficiently to support global and local business needs. Oversee end-to-end CPQ tool development, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with global stakeholders, including sales, engineering, and IT, to understand requirements, prioritize features, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Process Optimization: Drive process improvements in the sales cycle by implementing and optimizing CPQ solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and accelerate quote turnaround times.
• Quality & Performance Monitoring: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as First Pass Yield (FPY), On-Time Delivery (OTD), and tool efficiency. Ensure solutions meet quality standards and business objectives.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical direction for the team, ensuring best practices in software development, integration, and testing of CPQ tools.
• Skill Development: Identify skill gaps and implement strategies for competency development and career growth.
• Business development: Develop and execute strategies for scope addition, team scaling, and long-term capability building.
• Continuous Learning: Promote ongoing learning and skill development within the team, keeping up with the latest trends in CPQ, digital sales, and enterprise integration
• Diversity and Inclusion: Ensure Diversity and Inclusion within the team.
• Compliance: Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering or business administration.
• 10+ years in transformer manufacturing industry with minimum of 5+ yrs in leadership role related to configurator management or e-commerce.
• Proven experience in leading configurator management or similar role.
• Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to growth and scalability.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building abilities.
• Ability to manage and lead projects across multiple teams.
• Familiarity with the latest trends in e-commerce and digital sales tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
