Supply Chain Lead Specialist
The opportunity
- Implement & maintain processes to evaluate supplier performance data like delivery, quality etc. to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze supplier spend reports to identify targeted improvements; leverages value for the company.

How you'll make an impact
- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Coordinating with other departments such as sales, procurement, and finance to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials.
- Assessing and managing risks to supply chain operations due to potential disruptions or variances.
- Monitoring and adjusting supply chain activities to meet changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all aspects of supply chain operations.
- Implement & maintain processes to evaluate supplier performance data like delivery, quality etc. to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Ensure optimal capacity procurement and allocation, coordinating the forecast of supply and demand.
- Identify areas of risk within the supply chain Category; implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Enforce terms and conditions of purchase orders and other agreements and compliance with legal requirements and Company policy.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- Candidate must have 10 to 12 years of experience in Supply Chain management function at MNC in a relevant industry.
- Analyze supplier spend reports to identify targeted improvements; leverages value for the company.
- Resolve non-conformance issues in a timely manner to minimize the Company's exposure
- Work with Procurement buyers, Category managers and users to ensure internal and external customer needs are met.
- Responsible for planning, organizing and chairing regular Performance Reviews with Suppliers
- Coordinate with the quality team and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve short comings.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
