Supplier/Contractor Qualification Specialist

The opportunity:

The Supplier/Contractor Qualification Specialist will oversee the qualification process for suppliers and contractors, ensuring they meet the necessary standards for products. This includes conducting audits, evaluating supplier performance, collaborating with various departments and working closely with suppliers and the businesses to enhance quality and compliance.

How you'll make an impact:

• Assess potential suppliers based on their ability to meet product quality and delivery requirements.
• Conduct on-site audits to evaluate supplier facilities, processes, and quality systems.
• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance protocols.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics, including defect rates and on-time delivery.
• Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to suppliers to help them meet quality standards.
• Maintain detailed records of supplier evaluations, audit findings, and corrective actions.
• Prepare reports on supplier performance and quality trends for management review.
• Ensure suppliers comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and quality standards relevant to fresh products
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree preferred.
• 1 to 5 years of experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Ability to travel to supplier locations as needed.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
