Our Engineering Team based in Istanbul is an ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) competence center delivering software solutions mainly for Power Distribution Companies within Turkey and abroad. Now, as part of our team growth, we are looking for an ADMS Engineer with a broad profile that can take part in our SCADA/ADMS project deliveries. The work will consist of delivering professional services in our projects as well as improving our system solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a project team to deploy and configure complex software solutions, including Network Manager ADMS (SCADA/DMS/OMS) environments, with a focus on system stability and performance.
  • Manage and maintain the underlying infrastructure, including application servers and databases (primarily Oracle).
  • Configure operating systems (primarily Linux) and system parameters to optimize software performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated system configuration, deployment, and management of software solutions and infrastructure components.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools (e.g., using Python, shell scripting) to automate deployment, integration tasks, and system monitoring, complementing Ansible automation.
  • Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for issues related to software applications, databases, and operating systems.
  • Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for critical systems.
  • Perform system-level tests at different stages of the project lifecycle, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), focusing on system stability, performance, and integration.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical problems across the software stack until resolution, providing effective and timely solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of system administration processes, automation (leveraging Ansible), and best practices.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical/electronics engineering and equivalent acquired experience
  • Experience in Linux system administration is essential.
  • Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL database administration is a plus
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl is highly desirable.
  • Experience with configuration management tools, particularly Ansible, is a significant plus.
  • Experience with SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), DMS(Distribution Management System), EMS(Energy Management System) is a significant plus.
  • A strong focus on delivering robust and reliable systems, meeting uptime and performance requirements.
  • A creative and analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with international customers and internal teams.
  • Excellent command of English and Turkish language both written and verbal.
