Hitachi Energy is seeking Software Developer Interns for its Technology Center group in their Raleigh, NC location or remote location. This position is an annual part-time or full-time internship, depending on availability of the candidate, in a R&D team which is serving global technology development of distribution transformer business. Our business is power equipment manufacturing which involves various business processes from engineering to manufacturing. This position can be in the office or remote work. Candidates will not be required to travel.
Your responsibilities
- Building Azure based application (.Net Core / react)
- Implement new features
- Bug fixing
- Code refactoring
- Code review and Code Quality Assurance (NDepend, Sonar Cloud, Static Analyzers)
- Work in Agile multinational team (Project manager in USA and software architect in Lodz)

Requirement and qualification
- Student of Computer Science or equivalent
- Hand on programming experience with C#.NET (1-year minimum)
- Working knowledge in Azure Development (Batch, Docker, Queues, Functions, Storage, MSSQL)
- Basic knowledge on Web Development (React)
- Experience with SQL server (MS SQL)
- Familiar with modern project management tools and processes (Azure DevOps, Agile, etc.)
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
