Service Team Leader

Mission Statement:

You will be the Service Team Leader for TRES / After Sales and Service of transformers orders in Hitachi /PGTR/TRES Australia / Sydney. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for Site testing, training of site technicians for testing, planning of site technicians, Maintenance and upbringing of Site Equipment, Logistics of material and followed by delivery of assigned project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with relevant quality and safety guidelines.

You Responsibility:

  • You will Transformer Installation, Testing and Commissioning at site
  • You will carry out work at site on your own.
  • You should take necessary licenses to work on electrical equipment as per Australian Standards
  • You will be a part of training of other site technician for transformer testing
  • You should do Investment, maintenance, calibration of machinery required for site.
  • You will be Logistics of Hitachi owned machinery and equipment.
  • You will learn new technology and implement safety. Train others with new technology and equipment.
  • You will review of Order received from Customer.
  • You have to do Contract Review, prepare list of deliverables, Quality Requirement, Cost considered for the order, Prepare Plan for execution of Order.
  • You should Co-ordinate with Design team for required technical details and Material Master in SAP for further ordering of material, Co-ordinate with SCM for finalization of material required for Project, arrange material from vendors, arrange packing, Inspection documents, Arrange Dispatch Clearance from customer, Check for advance collection, L/C Opening, and timely collection of the same. Prepare Invoice and dispatch material to customer as per contractual Incoterms of Order, arrange documents to be provided to customer for payment as required.
  • You should follow up with customers / FES / Sales team for payment collection.
  • You will be arranging time sheet booking of Field Service Technicians in SAP / REIWA
  • Co-ordinate with Field Service Engineers for execution of service-related orders, invoicing, and collection of payment.
  • Escalate within organization for accomplishing task on time, Escalate with customers' organization for order fulfillment / contractual fulfillment / for Organization interest.
  • Create relationship, networking with various factories for taking their support for various aspects.

Your Background:

  • A Bachelor's / Diploma degree in {Electrical}.
  • More than 7 years of experience working as {order execution engineer / specialist / or site work} with {after sales and service of transformers preferred / electrical products such as HV Products, MV Products}.
  • In case of Experience other than Transformer, strong hold on Technical details such as Transformer Engineering, Fault Finding , Root Cause Analysis will be required.
  • You should be Electrical License holder in Australia or should be capable to take license after joining in reasonable time.
  • Ready to travel in various parts of Australia, neighboring countries, and factories if need arises.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including {transformer parts / products}.
  • Knowledge of SAP of SD, MM Module ( Not necessary but able to learn) and MS Office - Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Good Communication skills with persuasion, interpersonal skills , people management especially with site team.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
