Senior Test Engineer (protection & control systems)

The opportunity

For our Business Unit Grid Automation based in Santa Palomba (Roma) we are looking for a Senior Test Engineer who will be supporting our team for testing on protection & control systems.

How you'll make an impact

• Independently manage both internal tests and final customer tests (FAT);
• Ability to manage internal and external resources;
• Support management to planning activities, resources and testing areas;
• Coordinate testing requests that come from all our project managers;
• Lead with experience in testing electrical protections (High Voltage distance protection, line and busbar differential protection, transformer differential protection, generator protection, etc.)

Your background:

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or technical diploma;
• >5 years of experience in a similar role;
• Excellent knowledge of Protection Devices ( Distance, Differential Line/Busbar/Cable, Overcurrent,etc);
• Deep knowledge of testing equipment for protection relays, particularly on OMICRON devices;
• Deep Knowledge of Terna Substation Projects;
• Ability in troubleshooting analysis of protection & control systems;
• Ability in reading electrical schematic drawings;
• Ability in managing relationship with customers;
• Good knowledge of Italian and English (B2);
• Proactivity, team working and problem solving skills;
• Availability to travel in Italy (50%).
