The Opportunity:
Develops innovative and cost-effective proposals in alignment with Hitachi Energy's standards and targets. Supports pre-sales technical and commercial activities for internal and external customers, in accordance with the APAC HUB strategy.
How you'll make an impact:
- You will support the sales organization and customers in proposing the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, provide support during the technical meetings, product presentations, negotiations and portfolio (product/solution/service) related knowledge-sharing, prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology, determine costs, prepare final technical/ commercial documentation.
- You will ensure effective support for assigned bid & proposal activities.
- The preparation of techno-commercial proposals will be using internal and external resources, ensuring all proposals comply with Hitachi Energy procedures and guidelines, and legal requirements.
- You will ensure the most competitive offers considering the market situation and customers' priorities (technical/commercial) and conditions. Identifies optimal approach (e.g., direct sales, consortium, or channel) to better serve the customers, ensure all proposal terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, pricing) are in accordance and compliance with company policies. You will adequately plan and forecast workload to meet business needs, collaborate with internal and external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation.
- You will support bid/no bid analyses and decisions and participate in deal GO/NO-GO (Gate2) and Risk Review processes. You will provide support to the sales organization during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations with customers.
- You will hold him/herself accountable for the highest standards of health, safety, and environment to ensure Zero Harm is achieved, responsible for compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensuring proactive risk assessments take place and corrective actions are monitored/followed up.

Your background:
- Engineering/Trade qualifications - Electrical or equivalent.
- More than 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Power Industry in similar role.
- Experience across Electrical Industry within Utilities, Power Transmission & Distribution or Power Systems projects, especially in Substation Automation, Protection & Communication is an advantage.
- Advanced computer skills across MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint.
- Able to work with multiple stakeholders across functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai.
