With our "Grid and Power Quality Solutions" competence center, we hold a leading position in the development, manufacture, installation, commissioning and maintenance of medium-voltage frequency converters in the power range up to 150 MW. Our portfolio includes typical applications such as traction power supply, AC excitation and static compensation solutions. These products are used in power supply companies and in industry.
We are looking for you for our location in Turgi as Project Manager 80-100% (m/f/d). You will actively support us in project management, preparation of technical offer documents and product portfolio development for our global market. In addition, your area of responsibility will include working independently on new developments and adapting processes along the value chain, in collaboration with product management and the specialist departments. Your tasks:
- Main interface to and between customers and all project participants
- Building and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Managing projects and clarifying the contractual scope of services and commercial conditions through to installation, commissioning and acceptance.
- Defining the production process in the plant in close coordination with production control and coordinating technical acceptance with the customer
- Monitoring and controlling the costs of projects as well as creating and implementing cost-out and cost-benefit plans
- Preparing and participating in commercial and technical risk reviews
- Support in the accurate cost calculation of offers for the sales department
Your background:
- Successfully completed studies, preferably in electrical engineering or mechatronics, combined with further commercial training
- Several years of relevant professional experience in project management in the energy sector or a similar environment
- Good intuition for customer requirements and strong customer relationship management skills
- Strong ability to manage and coordinate tasks, projects and special topics independently, autonomously and under deadline pressure and to present the results to a forum
- International work experience desirable
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English, preferably another foreign language
- Willingness for occasional business trips worldwide
- Very good communication and presentation skills
