Senior Installation Engineer

Your Responsibilities:
- Installation supervision and testing of primary equipments in FACTS.
- Installation of Control and Protection cubicles, Electrical yard equipments, power and control cables, Laying, termination and testing of fiber cable, installation of reactors & capacitor filter units, distribution panels and switchgears is expected.
- Knowledge of Protection relays and Control System (SCMS / SCADA) will be an added advantage.
- Coordinate with design engineering teams, Sub-contractors, consultants, suppliers and customers and ensure the Installation activities are carried out smoothly meeting the time schedule.
- Technical co-ordinations with sub suppliers and multiple stakeholders in different locations & discuss with other departments / stakeholders to prepare the Division of works.
- Involved in FAT / SAT activities with along with sub suppliers.
- Technical support at site during commissioning phase of the project

Your Background:
- Education Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in ECE / EEE/ E&I or I&C.
- You should have minimum 7 years of working experience in Installation supervision of FACTS / HVDC / Substations of 33KV and above
- Handson experience in projects handle in India / other country locations.
- Good knowledge of IEC, NEC standards and customer specific standards (SEC, DEWA, North America etc.,) for installation is preferred.
- Strong communication and people skills with high focus on customers and stake holders and their needs.
- Very strong knowledge of safety standards and be able to lead the safety responsibility at sites.
- Willingness to work in multicultural / international environment.
- Should have good knowledge of OHSAS procedures and be able to handle OHS responsibility for his team at site.
- Good knowledge of process Automation / Power grid Automation
- You are an engaged person who thrives in a constantly changing environment and enjoys collaboration with employees, peers and beyond.
- Self-starter caliber who could own tasks through to completion.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
