Please be aware that related factory is in Kartal, Istanbul and will be moved to Dilovası, Kocaeli in 4-6 months.

How you'll make an impact

• Understand and comprehend customer requirements during quotation stage and after project receipt.
• Support implementing engineering process to create complex project order designs and documents, keeping project cost in mind while fully aligning with customer specifications.
• Perform design verification using engineering tools, standards, and customer requirements and archive documentation.
• Proactively identify risks and mitigate in solution concept stage in consultation with Manager.
• Align with manufacturing plan to deliver design specifications and create requirements in ERP.
• Actively Lead Design review meetings before finalizing detailed engineering solution.
• Visit and lead discussions with customers for Design reviews, approvals & clarifications.
• Prepare/check manufacturing documents for Core-winding-active part 3D models, 2D drawings and Bill of material in ERP.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electrical - Electronics Engineering. Master Degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
• Min.10 years of industry experience in electrical designing of Power Transformers and Shunt Reactors (preferably up to 400kV).
• Preferred to have knowledge and exposure to 2-D and 3-D CAD software packages like Creo/MagNet or similar.
• Having experience of working on optimization and cost saving projects using innovative design solutions, utilizing alternative materials, processes, and solutions.
• Strong level of self-motivation and structured approach to work
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
