SAP Solution Architect - R2R Controlling

The opportunity

Record to Report (R2R) Solution Architect Team is part of the Center of Excellence managing a Global SAP S/4 Hana system.
The Architect is responsible for solutions, design, testing of implementations related to SAP Controlling, as well as support and integration with other SAP modules/functions and related interface environments.

How you will make an impact:

  • Responsible for solutioning, design, testing and support activities for SAP Controlling module on SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Map business requirements and deliver solutions with configuration and functional specifications and other required documentation and configure the system accordingly.
  • Managing the implementation of new functionalities and improving existing ones, including formulating and analyzing requirements.
  • Preparing and executing unit/integration tests, regression tests and coordinating with end users for user acceptance testing as required.
  • Define the scope in the "How to request implementation and change of the standard" section and prepare appropriate documentation.
  • Design and implement training programs for Key Users in the field of new/changes in processes/module functionalities and ensure 100% knowledge transfer.
  • Ensures performance excellence throughout area of responsibility. Stays up to date with industry best practices in his area of expertise.
  • Participates in process evaluations to measure effectiveness and assists in resolving any identified gaps in business process mapping and/or functionality.
  • Uses knowledge to suggest innovations across a wide range of new and traditional channels.
  • Responsible for providing 3rd level expertise in incident/issue management, application change management, enhancements and projects

Your background

  • Proven experience in SAP Controlling module and solutions available in SAP S4/HANA, such as: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, COPA (Account based and Cost based), Product Cost Planning, Material Ledger with Actual Costing
  • Understanding Controlling integration with other modules: SD, PS, PP, Service Management
  • Strong knowledge of Management Accounting, including reporting
  • Understanding business processes: Make to Order, Make to Stock, Engineer to Order, Service Management
  • Experience with SAC and RAR - nice to have
  • ABAP skills, debugging, interfaces (API, OData) and MuleSoft integration - nice to have
  • Business English knowledge is a must
