This role involves understanding the full potential of our technology and staying abreast of market trends, which is highly rewarding. At Hitachi Energy, our Grid Edge Solutions business offers a cutting-edge portfolio of solutions for battery energy storage systems (BESS), microgrids, and renewable automation markets. As part of this team, you will collaborate closely with the Grid Edge Solutions sales lead in the Europe. Your expertise will contribute to building enduring customer relationships, creating innovative offerings, and delivering effective solutions tailored to customer needs in Europe. The position allows for flexibility in location within Europe, and by joining Hitachi Energy, you'll be part of a team committed to shaping a future where innovative digital technologies provide greater access to cleaner energy.

Your responsibilities

  • Driving sales volume and margin across Hitachi Energy's Grid Edge Solutions portfolio.
  • Preparing sales plans and leading projects together with Grid Edge Solutions Sales in the Nordic region, Tendering and other Grid Edge Solution business functions.
  • Leading and successfully concluding contract negotiations.
  • Securing continuous pipeline growth in the Grid Edge Solutions market.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and knowledge of customer needs.
  • Identifying and developing new market opportunities in collaboration with the wider team.
  • Monitoring customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities and technology development.
  • Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • An engineering degree in a related field (preferably electrical, electronic or computer science).
  • More than 2 years of experience in Sales.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in system and solution sales in the area of electrification, renewables and energy storage markets.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Other European languages will be considered as advantage.
  • Current permit to work inside the European Union.
