General Information:
Generate, nurture and achieve region's marketing qualified lead goals to transition to sales; build pipeline of quality leads and opportunities within Grid Automation Business Unit, aiming to achieve the qualitative and quantitative goals for products, systems and/or services profitably, exceeding sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities:
- Generate, nurture and achieve region's marketing qualified lead goals to transition to sales; build pipeline of quality leads and opportunities
- Collaborate and build relationships with sales representatives and sales leadership to move leads through the pipeline to meet/exceed top-line goals
- Conduct research on targeted accounts and new contacts to prospect through 3rd party data tools and solutions
- Build deep knowledge of GA's solution portfolio to enable effective and efficient regional lead generation
- Align with stakeholders to create marketing programs supported by outbound outreach
- Update Salesforce regularly to track status of lead qualification and to drive accurate reporting; maintain accuracy and integrity of information in database

Requirements for the role:
- Personable, outgoing and able to initiate conversations and communications in an engaging manner with a tenacious hunger to drive new leads and achieve goals
- Working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation solutions; Salesforce and Eloqua a plus
- Solid organization and time management skills along with top notch listening and communications skills, both written and verbal; compelling presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Prospect via warm and cold call interactions by phone, email, tradeshows and events to nurture and qualify leads
- Self-generate leads; identify and research targeted accounts and personas through 3rd party tools and data solutions
- Establish rapport with multiple levels of decision makers and influencers
- Understand technical concepts, complex solution portfolios, and competitive landscapes
- Align marketing funnel strategies and manage sales cycles
- Represent Hitachi Energy at tradeshows and events;
- Multi-task with keen attention to detail in a fast paced, changing environment
Your background:
- Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing or communications
- Two-years of experience in outbound demand generation, business development or sales prospecting supporting outside sales teams with proven track record of generating results
- Power grids, utilities, renewables, transportation, mining, or asset intensive industry experience
- English and Spanish is mandatory
