Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact. We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business's DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Offshore Wind Connections, Semiconductors and Power Consulting, for utility and industrial grid applications, as well as e-transportation solutions.
You will drive service sales process in collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager. Generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated area(s). Focus on installed base penetration (IB) and sell the entire Service product portfolio for Grid & Power Quality Solutions (Substations and FACTS) in collaboration with other Hitachi Energy service units. Build long term customer relationships and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues

Your responsibilities:
- Service Sales Delivery - In collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager implements Service sales strategy. Penetrating IB, promotes various upgrade, retrofit and value add solutions to the benefit of the customer and Hitachi Energy. Understanding the service strategy and prepares sales plans, reviews them and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed.
- Volume and profit - Utilizing ServIS to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifies and develops sales opportunities for Service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market. Focusing on the entire Service portfolio to secure profit for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
- New opportunities - Generating Service sales leads and develops new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios.
- Customer approach - Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding the customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM). Registering customer feedback and ensures customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. Sales process - Selling entire service product portfolio to expand Hitachi Energy footprint in the designated area(s).
- Charting out and monitors sales proposals, tenders and follows up proposal statistics. Preparing Hitachi Energy's Service offerings based on customer need and in coordination with the local Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager.
- Communicating contract details in accordance with Hitachi Energy offering and strategy. Managing administrative sales processes.
- Marketing - Acting as a marketer/salesperson of Hitachi Energy's service products and solutions during marketing activities (trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings). Translating the needs of customer into relevant Hitachi Energy Service offerings and solutions. Effectively working together with Front end Sales and other Sales/ Business Units.

Your background:
- A bachelor's degree in electrical / electrical & Electronics Engineering. At least 6 to 8 years of professional experience at similar position.
- Knowledge of Grid and Power Quality Industry (Sub stations, FACTS).
- Knowledge on latest automation technologies will be an advantage
- Very good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Willingness to frequent business trips.
- High proficiency with tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
