Research Team Manager - Gas Insulation 100% (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• You lead: You'll lead a multidisciplinary research team, fostering the creation of new research project proposals and strategic initiatives
• You support and develop: As a manager, you'll recruit new team members and coach existing ones to support their professional growth. Your guidance will be instrumental in their success
• You contribute: Drawing from your own research expertise, you'll actively contribute to research projects and pre-studies
• You connect: Forge strong relationships within the company, collaborating with relevant business units and leading universities. Contribute to an innovative and motivating working environment within the Central European Research Center, and with all Hitachi Energy Research Centers
• You communicate: Ensure dissemination of your team's results scientific publications, patent applications, and technical reports. Sharing knowledge is key to progress

• PhD degree in engineering, physics, or similar field with relevant professional experience in industrial research environment
• Experience working in laboratory environment with high safety standards
• Collaborative, team-oriented and innovative personality as well as solution-oriented working style, combined with strong communication skills
• Curiosity and enthusiasm to work on technologies that enable the global energy transition, and interest in a future career path within Hitachi Energy globally
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
