The opportunity

The Regional Product Manager leverages deep technical expertise to shape and execute a localized product strategy that aligns with the Global Product Roadmap. By customizing product value propositions and positioning in line with global marketing strategies, this role ensures our offerings evolve to meet market demands, driving sustainable and profitable growth across the region.

How you'll make an impact

  • Implements global portfolio strategy into the region, primary influencer to future designs / investments for regional offerings in alignment with Global Product Group strategy and Market needs.
  • Enhances our Competitiveness and market knowledge with key regional/local customers and/or internal stakeholders
  • Product/solution competitiveness analysis and actions. Leading the implementation, validating savings and business cases for DtV projects
  • Competitor benchmarking (market intelligence, new releases), Market price overview and benchmarks to feed competitiveness actions
  • Regional product requirements (changes in regulations, standards, legislations)
  • Provides input to Global Product Managers on MRS and business case for R&D initiatives. Provides feedback to Global Product Managers on existing and new product performance
  • Leads the Market introduction of new products in coordination with Hub M&S, Hub Application Engineering. Create and adapt marketing information to the respective market/region. Identify co-creation/partnership opportunities
  • The Regional Product Manager is responsible for implementing our local Product Strategy.
  • Drives Implementation of our global product strategy in the HUB, including regional training, customization of product material
  • Implementation of Strategic Product Initiatives from the respective GPG's. Support product launches in the Hub
  • Secures rolling out of the approved strategy and product portfolio in the HUB. Drives and support ToT processes as provider or receiver unit

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. A master's degree in business, marketing, or engineering is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in technical department (R&D, Electrical Engineering or Design) and/or Project Manager and/or Product Marketing, Sales and Business development in the assigned sector(s) and preferably associated with transformer businesses
  • The person in this role should have strong technical skills, in addition to the marketing experience.
  • Intercultural sensitivity is required, with good communication skills in oral and written
  • Experience in change management, coaching, motivating, and developing diverse technical teams
  • Be willing to travel ~25%
