Regional Power+ Program Coordinator for Asia region
The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Regional Power+ Program Coordinator for Asia region. In this role, you'll contribute to Global Power+ Graduate Program, our flagship early career development program, by being responsible for regional program coordination and people management of Power+ Trainees hired in countries of your scope in Asia region (China, Japan, India and Vietnam). As a direct reporting line manager for Power+ Trainees you'll be responsible for ongoing people management and coaching support to participants, building a recruitment strategy and acting hiring manager with support of local Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding teams, cooperation with the business on identifying assignment projects for new participants, educating business representatives on the program, its framework and costs, smooth liaison between local needs against global requirements, building a community among Program Managers from different countries and regions. You'll be also responsible for data integrity and reporting for countries of your scope as part of global landscape.
How you'll make an impact
- You will be building program's brand by following and implementing global standards on the country market(s) and cooperating with the business on identifying assignment projects for new participants.
- You will be educating business representatives on the program, its framework and costs and co-creating program's brand on country and regional level (networking and ambassadorship: scaling capabilities against country specifics) with efficient budget management.
- You will be building a community among Program Managers from different countries and responsible for local data integrity and reporting as part of global landscape.
- You will be a direct reporting line manager for Power+ in the country and building a recruitment strategy with support of local Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding teams.
- You will be responsible for ongoing people management and coaching support to participants which requires: Hiring and selection, Introduction to the company, country specifics and program and introduction to performance management and other employee lifecycle related processes (good knowledge of local labor code and regulations).
- You will support in compliance with local & global policies and HR regulations.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- You hold a bachelor's degree or higher.
- 3-5+ years of experience in HR Program Management with preferred Talent Management background.
- Experience working in a complex environment and managing multiple stakeholders in different business areas.
- Excellent project management skills with ability to hold partners accountable across the globe and drive toward results by deadline.
- Ability to think global and act local while translating ideas into tangible results.
- Strong commitment to and passion for incorporating Diversity, Equity & Inclusion into all you do as a professional.
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, influencing and communication skills.
- And a strong desire to bring your passion and energy to advancing a sustainable energy future for all.
- Well verbal and email communication in both English and Chinese.
