The Opportunity:
Responsible to develop the business in Data Centers and Rail Transportation for Grid Automation within Automation and Communication (AC) business, APAC region.
How you'll make an impact:
- You will grow the sales activities within the Automation & Communication business (Substation Protection, Control & Communication) in APAC region. Acting directly with End-users and developers for promotion and positioning, follow particular markets growth in Data Centers and Rail Transportation.
- You will be responsibility for growing the pipeline and order for Data Center & Raik and Airports.
- You will support value proposition meetings by localizing technical proposals and attending Front-End-Sales /BDM customer meetings.
- You will be leading or supporting under Hitachi Energy - Grid Automation guidance and best-practice from early design phase with a focus on Data center Hyperscale and Colocation investments. And on specialized regional EPC's on Rail and Airport projects.
- You will be the owner for the business growth initiatives on these segments from APAC.
- You will Identify, interpret, and prioritize local regulatory standards and requirements from e.g., cybersecurity standards and wireless bandwidth licenses through to localization requirements.
- You will coordinate the internal Stakeholders in the region (Front end sales, Global Product Group managers, HE segments managers, AC Sales)
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
- Sales and marketing, business developer (hunter) skills, 10 to15 years experience in system/solution sales.
- Preference for candidates who can demonstrate APAC regional experience and in Electrical/ Power Automation domains within Data center industry
- You possess Engineering/Trade qualifications - Electrical & Electronics or equivalent
- Working level knowledge of Protection relays, SCADA and telecom systems
- Skilled in contract negotiation and solution selling
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Able to work and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and positions
