The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Real Estate Project Manager to join our team and drive excellence in workplace and facility operations across Southern Europe.
In this exciting role, you will collaborate with key Spain stakeholders in Finance, HR, and Real Estate to align headcount growth projections with regional real estate strategy, ensuring seamless execution of business objectives.
The position is based in our Hitachy Energy Spain HQ, Madrid, but will be requested frequent travelling to our facilities sites across Spain.
How you will make an impact:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Spain stakeholders, including Finance, HR, and internal teams, to gather data and support headcount growth projections.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to the Regional Real Estate Manager for Southern Europe, ensuring the real estate strategy is aligned with business growth.
- Oversee and guide facilities and workplace operations, fostering an exceptional work environment that enhances and reinforces company culture.
- Ensure all contracts and legal documentation related to the Real Estate portfolio are fully compliant, with all obligations met.
- Lead and manage real estate fit-out projects from concept through to completion, working closely with architects, project managers, and contractors.
- Develop detailed project plans and ensure adherence to corporate workplace standards and compliance.

Your background:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in managing commercial real estate projects from inception to completion.
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in commercial real estate and interior construction.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple buildout projects across diverse commercial real estate portfolios.
- Proficiency in developing RFPs, reviewing construction drawings and submittals, and negotiating contracts with vendors.
- Excellent command of MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish and English is essential.
