R&D Team Leader - GPS

How you'll make an impact:

• You will lead HV GIS GPS team on product support for SF6 and EconiQ product portfolio, to achieve project goals and deliverables on time and on quality, foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• You will develop and implement the core technology in the team, aligning with global strategy, stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team and evaluate and recommend new tools technologies and methodologies to enhance team productivity and product quality, guide and support solving the key technical problems.
• You will be responsible for team member development and career mentoring, ensuring appropriate competencies are developed and acquired within the team according to team strategy plan.
• You will work overall to support R&D Manager in project preparation, resource coordination and planning.
• You will build, develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external (customers, universities, etc.) contacts to ensure alignment and support for R&D initiatives.
• You will prepare and monitor the R&D team's budget.

• You hold master's degree or above in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or related majors.
• Minimum 5 years and above R&D Experience.
• Solid knowledge on HV GIS theory and development, deep understanding of the correlation between mechanical, insulation, switching, heat transfer performance, etc.
• Innovative and creative mind-set, with a tendency to challenge and improve existing approaches.
• Self-motivated, innovative, structured and systematic thinking, strong result-driven, high quality and high-speed execution and show leadership.
• Good communication skills and team spirit. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
