How you'll make an impact
- Lead and manage R&D projects, coordinating multi-location and cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion of tasks and milestones
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, budget, schedule, and risk management strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Organize and monitor project activities, optimizing resource utilization and managing project costs to achieve established milestones effectively
- Oversee project financials, identifying and managing risks while recognizing opportunities to enhance overall project outcomes
- Validate business cases for R&D projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and managing change throughout the project lifecycle for optimal results
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, resolving project-related issues and fostering strong relationships for effective communication and collaboration
- Promote adherence to Hitachi Energy's health, safety, and environmental policies, fostering a culture of safety and compliance during project execution
- Ensure compliance with project management processes and tools, continuously identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices that align with Hitachi Energy's methodologies
Your background
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the energy sector or a similar industrial environment
- Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to effectively manage complex projects and drive successful outcomes
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and technologies relevant to the energy sector, enabling effective communication with technical teams
- Ability to analyze project data, identify trends, and develop data-driven solutions to overcome challenges and optimize performance
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication
