Your responsibilities
- Creating and updating routine analysis and quality inspection plans on raw material
- Developing and maintaining company inspection reports.
- Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
- Create/update routine analysis and quality inspection plan on final products.
- Guarantees finished products meet required specifications prior to releasing shipments.
- Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly, reporting quality anomalies to the quality engineer via the quality alert.
- Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes, understands and follows applicable policies and procedures.
- Represent the Quality department on the production line to ensure compliance with operating procedures and production flow with production planning.

Your background
- This position requires a minimum of a 2-year degree/diploma in electrical/electronic technology and/or industrial electrical testing.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills are required. Use of Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook, and Teams) is required.
- Proven work experience in a production environment as a Quality Technician, Inspector or similar role.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9000 concepts and understanding of current quality control techniques and practices
- Experience in control wiring connection and test is preferred
- Good level of reading 2D Drawings, ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
- Strong customer service orientation and be a proactive change agent with understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Experience in drafting reports and collating data with high-level of visual awareness.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP ERP or equivalent.
