General Information

• Permanent full-time position
• Salary of $34.69/hr plus night premiums of 0.80$/hr or night premiums of 1,50$/hr.
• Evening hours from 3.15pm to 11.30pm, Monday to Friday.
• Night shift from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., Sunday to Thursday (36.25 hours paid 40 hours).
• The training period will take place during the day.

• Carry out the various electrical and mechanical tests required for transformer production, including leak testing and product packaging.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer and Hitachi Energy requirements.
• Carry out the necessary tests and verifications relating to the receipt of goods and test the compatibility of raw materials, including all required oil tests.
• Carry out verifications, internal audits and inspections to maintain Quality and Environmental management systems.
• Maintain quality assurance control records.
• Acquire data using the computerized management system.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures, raise non-conformities (NCRs) relating to production problems, diagnose them and ensure follow-up.
• Carry out and validate minor product repairs.
• Take charge of and carry out special processes.
• Support employees, as needed, in mastering technical aspects such as ISO.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Production on prototype testing and follow-up.
• Provide technical support to employees.
• Perform preventive maintenance on test equipment, including maintenance and calibration of measurement, environmental and OHS equipment.
• Validate plant test safety.

• College diploma in electrical engineering, electrotechnology, electromechanics, industrial electronics technology or DEP in electricity (1800 hours) or equivalent
• 1 year experience in a similar position or other relevant experience
• Available to work evening or night shifts
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Advanced French (comprehension, spoken and written);
• Intermediate English (comprehension, spoken and written)

• Ability to communicate different information clearly both orally and in writing

• Attention to detail: able to combine a high level of quality and efficiency
• Good judgment and initiative
