QA Test Lead

As a QA Test Lead you will be a member of a team of engineers passionate about changing the world. We are supporting our customer to energized millions of houses around the world. How You Will Make An Impact

• Responsible for planning system quality assurance activities
• Reporting to Quality Manager for overall Quality Assurance program
• Preparation of test plans and test procedures for newly developed applications
• Setup and maintenance of the test environment
• Comprehend the application requirement as per customer specifications and create Test Procedure and Test Scenarios for baseline and newly developed features for each release
• Closely coordinate with Domain experts to capture key features of applications in Test Procedure
• Scheduling of tests and test resources, be well organized and committed to processes & timelines..
• Should proactively look for Test Automation methods to reduce time/cost for testing and be consistent with documentation
• Work in collaboration with Project Technical Leads

• Bachelors (or higher) degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• ISTQB Level 1 certification will be an advantage
• Basic understanding of electric power generation and transmission networks.
• Basic understanding of SCADA systems.
• Experience with software testing & using tools such as JIRA, ADO (or similar).
• Occasional travel to other Hitachi offices for internal meetings.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with an eagerness to thrive in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
