Project Quality Specialist

Genoa, Italy

Ensures support to the project management team regarding all quality related issues on projects to support its objective achievement in terms of quality, supplier & subcontractor quality, and customer satisfaction.

Leads the implementation, maturity assessment and improvement of all processes along the entire value chain to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment across the project.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Quality in Project Management Specialist has the responsibility to lead the implementation and execution of the Project Gate Reviews ensuring process adherence to quality standards and customer requirements. Ensure the voice of Customer under project execution since Bidding phase, thought project development and smooth implementation at site.
  • Cooperating with the customer on Project Quality issues and ensuring ownership of actions to resolve it.
  • Enabling and coaching all project team members to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a quality and customer/stakeholder point of view.
  • Analysing transferability of experience between projects as well as planning Quality Assurance activities to reduce all forms of risk.
  • Collaborating with the project team to develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality activities.
  • Applying project quality procedures and plans and ensuring appropriate implementation and compliance from the project team.
  • Certifying effective internal controls systems (project, supply, site) are in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements, validating that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating prioritized risks.
  • Performing audits on project delivery and ensuring the use of Quality data analytics from all aspects of the operation to identify risks, failures and non conformances within the local business, its suppliers and customers. Ensuring that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken, and solutions are managed to closure.

Your background

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (preferably electrical, industrial or management)
  • At least 3-5 years years of experience in Quality/Project Management role
  • Certified auditor ISO9001
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office tools especially Excel and Power Point;
  • Fluency in English (B2/C1) and Italian both written and spoken;
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to learn;
  • Strong customer-oriented;
