This is a hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC, requiring on-site presence of two to five days per week.

How you'll make an impact
- Lead all engineering activities across the full project lifecycle
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external partners
- Serve as the primary technical contact for stakeholders
- Drive innovation and cost-effective solutions in proposals
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contract standards
- Support commissioning and construction phases
- Evaluate risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Promote continuous improvement and process optimization
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 7+ years of relevant project engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI/IEEE, and high-voltage substations
- Familiarity with FACTS technologies (STATCOM, SVC, Series Capacitor)
- Experience in EPC project environments
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
