Project Engineer-Electrical

How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead engineering development for auxiliary power systems across multiple projects.
- Design and review single-line diagrams, layout drawings, and equipment sizing.
- Prepare and approve cable raceway designs and system selectivity calculations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors.
- Provide technical support during testing, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Review vendor documentation and manage third-party engineering resources.
- Conduct experiments and analyze data to improve system performance.
- Create work plans, cost estimates, and ensure delivery within budget and schedule.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in auxiliary power system design, installation, and commissioning.
- Demonstrated professional engineering competence.
- Preferred: Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain.
- Willingness to travel 20% or more as needed.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
