Hitachi Energy Composites in Piteå is a global leader in composite insulators for high-voltage products. For over 50 years, we have produced and delivered insulation components to both internal factories and external customers. Due to increased demand and new challenging internal projects, we are now expanding our production management team.

Are you ready for the challenge of driving and developing our production in a results-oriented organization?
We are currently seeking a Production Manager for our factory who will play a key role in leading and advancing our production to the next level.

Your Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for delivering customer orders on time and with the right quality.

• Prepare and follow up on the annual budget for the production section.

• Develop strategies, projects, goals, and metrics to lead and drive production.

• Manage the need for temporary staff and coordinate subcontractors together with other cross-functional teams.

• Support sales during customer visits by providing expertise and guidance on production-related matters.

• Ensure compliance with the company's health, safety, and environmental directives and implement necessary regulations.

• Responsible for production supervisors, production engineering, and maintenance. The role also includes responsibility for the Capex budget.

• Several years of experience in a similar role and/or leadership experience within a manufacturing industry.

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

• To succeed in this role, you should be disciplined, structured, and results-oriented.

• Strong communication skills and some experience with union negotiations are highly valued.

• Proficiency in MS Office, BaaN LN, SAP, and MES systems.

• Fluent in both English and Swedish, written and spoken.
