The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. How you'll make an impact

1. You will lead, execute and deliver on agreed strategy deployment actions including coordination for cross function involvement and execute and sustain the strategic sourcing activities on HUB level, run risk mitigation actions, propose and perform make vs buy studies and run SCM implementation

2. You will apply and implement SCM standards, tools and processes in area of responsibility, regularly review the balance of demand vs supply for critical materials for assigned Hub and align and deliver on the targets for KPIs for the Hub spend with focus on cost, quality and timely delivery.

3. You will regularly report on financial performance and supply performance for assigned Hub, negotiate annual spend contract for selected suppliers and negotiate Global Frame Agreement, GTC (including SQAA when applicable) for selected suppliers and have contracts approved and approve PO as per applicable CAT/LAT.

4. You will lead demand collection process on Hub level including detailed factory requirements, manage/run tender/ order specific RFx and negotiations where applicable and distribute market allocation, pricing, lead times, MOQ (If applicable) and information flow to factories, Factory SCM and/or relevant responsible person and control its usage in the local ERP systems.

5. You will evaluate, define and monitor improvement measures for selected suppliers, organize or ask for resources accordingly, execute supplier qualification for the ones in scope on Hub level, perform risk assessment, plan and assign audits to Supply Quality & Development Engineer and also mandate supply quality and development team in their undertaking for supplier issue resolution/hot topics.

6. You will act as resolution owner on escalated topics as mapped in escalation matrix, lead supplier qualification/classifications for the ones in scope, perform risk assessment and provide final qualification decision and raise the need for PPAP execution for new parts to related SQ teams in line with Category Strategy and Input Category management requirements for new/existing supplier audits to related SQEs regularly for annual planning and execution also collaborate closely with supply quality and development team for the top concern supplier issue resolution to ensure timely and effective countermeasure implementation at the suppliers.

7. You will act as resolution owner on escalated supply topics as mapped in escalation matrix and initiate commercial actions if required, input category management requests for the annual SPE process and contribute as evaluator for commercial criteria and execute on forward sourcing (namely activities for R&D, DTV, New Product Introduction, product cost improvement project) and support technology transfer projects, footprint changes and other agreed improvement measures.

8. You will constantly screening regional supply market for green sourcing material availability and in collaboration with Hub SCM sustainability team, align with internal stakeholders on green sourcing opportunities to persuade and to ensure full adherence to regional sustainability different legislation requirement within category supply base in collaboration with SCM sustainability.

9. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a master's or bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

2. You possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing or a related role within supply chain management.

3. You are proficient in supplying chain management software and tools.

4. You have solid financial acumen to assess and manage budgets effectively.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

6. Willingness to travel regionally as necessary to engage with suppliers and stakeholders.
