The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 3000+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy's units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Mission Statement:
As a Tender Specialist, you will be part of Indian Operation Center in India (INOPC), aiming to develop a global value chain, where key business activies, resources and expertise are shared across geographic boundaries in order to optimize value for Hitachi Energy customers across market. You will support Transformer Business for Power Transformer Factory - Kartal throughout the Tendering Process.

Your Responsibilities:
- Sells Transformers to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets.
- Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
- Manages administrative procedures in Sales and Project management process.
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
- Prepares sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
- Creates added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
- Communicates details in accordance with Hitachi Energy offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
- Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures knowhow sharing and cross-collaboration.

Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Degree. Knowledge in Transformer / Power Substation
- Should have hands-on 1-3 yrs experience in Transformer Sales.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with strong organization and time management.
- Ability to handle high load capacity by setting priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools (Excel, word & Powerpoint) & Sales force
- Proven interpersonal abilities with peers, colleagues, superiors, customer, suppliers and service providers.
