Operational Purchasing Team Lead

Your responsibilities:

• Responsible for the materials planning process, monitors the revision of the strategies according to the set calendar, ensures that the new strategies are implemented in the system (SAP) - responsible for the supply of the necessary materials for production;
• Works with Production Planner and Project Manager to develop a process to optimally use order forecasts to ensure that high cost and long lead time materials are delivered just in time before production begins to optimize inventory;
• Prepares and provides monthly performance report (KPIs) to the team - timely receipt of supplier confirmation and ROTD (Requested Lead Time);
• Works collaboratively with strategic sourcing to optimize contracted lots to reduce the purchase of excess materials;
• Calculates certificate of origin EUR 1 and coordinates the collection of documents maintaining the correctness of the materials;
• If necessary, provides information on classification of materials in connection with the annual inventory;
• Manages and prioritizes daily team duties, conducts Annual performance reviews and approves and schedules vacations;
• Takes care of the individual development of each member of the team, develops their knowledge and skill in planning and ordering materials, trains new employees.

• Bachelor's degree;
• Preferably 2 years of experience in similar position in production environment;
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English;
• Very good knowledge of MS office /Excel/;
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system;
• Strong communication and organizing skills;
• Eager to learn, flexible, open-minded and team-work oriented.
