The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy's units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries(empty).

Software Development Engineering (High Tech) focus on developing multiple types/categories of software including end-user applications and operating systems/utility software, that provides a platform for running end user applications for sale to external customers. The work includes Conducting requirements gathering and analysis to understand the domain of the software problem and/or functionality, the interfaces between hardware and software, and the overall software characteristics. Using programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write the software code. Supporting software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements. Applying knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE applications using Spring Boot Framework.
• Implement ORM frameworks for data persistence and retrieval.
• Develop and integrate JSON, RESTful APIs / SOAP services for efficient communication.
• Develop and implement API testing framework for effectively testing the application modules.
• Architect and implement Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture solutions.
• Utilize IoC, AOP, and Multi-threading concepts for optimized performance.
• Utilize Lambda expressions for functional programming paradigms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project development and delivery.

• Bachelor's of degree with 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Mandatory skills required: HTML, CSS, JS (JavaScript), jQuery, JEE, Java Server Pages (JSP), Java Servlets, Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring IoC, Spring JDBC, Database: MSSQL.
• Hands on experience on Microservices Architecture and Apache Tomcat.
• Good to have: Azure Services, Azure DevOps, CICD.
• Proficiency in English language.
