MES Solution Architect
Your responsibilities:
- Responsible to translate requirements specifications into IT Manufacturing solutions in alignment with existing services and standard technology components.
- Define technical solution documentation, including architectural diagrams, design and integration specifications, data structures and system documentation.
- Responsible for requirements management process. Ensure that the final solution meets business objectives
- Work together with the testing team to validate the solution is fit for use.
- Determine non-functional requirements and ensure service / solution operation standards are considered accordingly
- Engage in requirements engineering to decide which requirements are covered by available standard functionalities, for which functionalities enhancements are needed and for which functionalities workarounds are accepted
- Formulate rules, principles and guidelines to guide the development of the technical solutions
- Support the Run organization in the incident and problem resolution when technical expertise is required

Your background:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, industrial engineering, automation engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in solution architecture and design in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Good knowledge of ISA95, Lean manufacturing, Kanban, JIT, MTO, MTS, Job, batch, and mass production methods
- Understanding of software solutions in the area of MoM/MES (knowledge on MES/ECS is welcome)
- Thorough knowledge of IT service management concepts (ITIL).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges
- Fluent English language, written and spoken
- Estimated 20% travel
