• Hitachi Energy is currently looking for Mechanical (Tank & External) Engineering Experienced Professional for the Transformers Business to join their team in Location- Vadodara, India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual.

Mission Statement:Mechanical Engineering researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines. A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Your Responsibilities:

• The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team heavily specialized in Power Transformers design covering different countries.
• Preparation of General Arrangement, fabrication drawings, Bill of materials and submission to customer as per project schedule.
• Will be part of a Global Engineering Center team and your task is to contribute to the global design work with positive team atmosphere and networking.
• Responsible for development of transformer designs in coordination with global Hitachi Energy factory based on the purchase order requirement, ordering specification in different areas of transformer electrical design.
• Coordinating his order design activities within a worldwide factories network.
• Demonstrated team building and networking skills, would be a preference.
• Understanding of Transformer mechanical design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and sound performance and transformer mechanics
• A team player, open with information and willingly contributes to team discussions with an ability to work without supervision when required.
• Participation in internal design concept reviews.

Your Background• Bachelor's degree of Mechanical Engineering.• 2 - 7 years' experience working in mechanical design for Power Transformers.• Candidates with higher experience also to be considered. Experience in order designs,

• Experience in Customer drawings & fabrication drawings.

• Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.• Experience on Microsoft office and tools.• Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.• Additional languages knowledge is considered an advantage.• Quick learner with ability to master new areas• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.Relocation:
