As a Mechanical CAD Design Specialist, you'll contribute to the design of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) stations that power communities across the globe. How you'll make an impact
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for HVDC station components
- Collaborate on station layouts and building requirements for onshore and offshore projects
- Support civil designers with technical inputs and installation drawings
- Apply design standards and safety protocols to every project
- Deliver high-quality CAD outputs using advanced tools like NX/TC
- Contribute to the development of modular and standardized structures
- Ensure project milestones are met with precision and efficiency

Your background
- Associate degree or 3D modeling certification with at least 2 years of experience
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drafting using NX/TC software
- Experience in substation or HV/EHV engineering projects
- Familiarity with manufacturing and production processes
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Willingness to work onsite at least 4 days per week
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
