Manufacturing Test Technician Lead Engineer

General Information:

This position will lead the team of test technicians in the Mechanical and Electrical labs while also conducting all tests within the scope of the customer.

Your Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing various testing procedures in a laboratory environment for quality assurance.
• Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative analytical tests, performing calculations and determinations on tests, and evaluating physical/chemical characteristics.
• Familiar with the use of standard and industry specific specialized laboratory equipment Analyzes test results and experiments to ensure conformity to physical and/or chemical specifications.
• Maintains records of analysis and tests A Specialist Para-Professional (S4) requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
• Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations. T
• raining, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees. Problems are typically difficult and non-routine but not complex.

• This position requires at a minimum an Associate's Degree from an accredited college/university in the area of electronics or mechanical manufacturing.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Proven experience in the fields of electronics or mechanical manufacturing of 5-10 years can be substituted for the degree.
• Direct electronic or mechanical testing is a plus.
