Production Supervisor
The opportunity
- Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and downtime logs.
- Lead or participate in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives.
- Quality Control & Assurance Oversee product quality at each stage of production.
How you'll make an impact
- Production Planning & Execution Coordinate daily production schedules to meet output targets.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials. Monitor workflow and adjust resources as needed to avoid bottlenecks.
- Team Leadership & Supervision Supervise and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals.
- Conduct training and skill development sessions for team members.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Quality Control & Assurance Oversee product quality at each stage of production.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to resolve defects or deviations.
- Implement corrective actions to maintain product standards.
- Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies and recommend process enhancements.
- Lead or participate in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives.
- Support implementation of automation or digital tools on the shop floor.
- Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and downtime logs.
- Analyse production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Report KPIs and performance metrics to senior management.
- Safety & Compliance Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments. Ensure adherence to environmental and occupational health regulations Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- Education Bachelor's / Diploma degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Production Management Proven ability to manage shift operations, allocate resources, and meet daily production targets.
- Team Leadership Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising shop floor teams, conducting performance reviews, and driving employee engagement.
- Quality & Compliance In-depth knowledge of quality control processes, ISO standards, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
- Lean Manufacturing Practical experience with lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis (RCA) for continuous improvement.
- Technical Proficiency Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, production planning software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Communication & Reporting Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination and reporting KPIs to management.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
