Logistic and Warehouse Specialist

The opportunity:
For our Service Business Unit based in Lodi we are looking for a Logistic & Warehouse Specialist who will be in charge of ensuring accurate, safe, and timely handling of goods through streamlined warehouse operations.
How you'll make an impact:
- You will receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming shipments of materials and products, organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas for easy access and retrieval, conduct regular physical inventory counts (cycle counts) and reconcile with data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) & monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, reporting discrepancies to management.
- You will accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards, generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation, ensure all orders are dispatched on time to meet customer delivery deadlines.
- You will coordinate with freight carriers and transportation providers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments, track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any transit issues that may arise, prepare and verify all shipping documents (e.g., Bills of Lading, commercial invoices) for domestic and international shipments, negotiate with carriers for competitive shipping rates and services.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your background:
- Diploma or degree;
- >5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Proficient in inventory control techniques;
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel and SAP;
- Able to analyze logistics data to identify issues (e.g., shipping delays, stock discrepancies) and find effective solutions.
- Proficiency in Italian and English communication.
