Lithography Mask Designer

The opportunity:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Lithography Mask Designer with strong programming skills to support our semiconductor development processes. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, optimization, and automation of lithography mask layouts, ensuring precision and efficiency in advanced manufacturing environments.

How you'll make an impact:

• You will design and generate lithography masks for semiconductor devices using industry-standard tools (e.g. Cadence, KLayout, Calibre), big plus would be knowledge of DW2000.
• You will collaborate with process engineers and product designers to translate device requirements into mask layouts.
• You will develop and maintain scripts or software tools to automate mask generation, validation, and data handling.
• You will ensure mask designs meet quality, manufacturability, and performance standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• You will perform design rule checks (DRC), layout vs. schematic (LVS) verification, and other validation steps.
• You will manage version control and documentation of mask data and related scripts.
• You will support continuous improvement initiatives in mask creation workflows.
• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience in lithography mask design and layout tools (e.g. KLayout, Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre), a plus would be knowledge of DW2000.
• Strong programming skills (e.g. Python, TCL, SKILL, or similar).
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and design rules, Experience with automation of layout generation or verification processes.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communications skills.
