The Opportunity
The design of high voltage (HV) devices, such as gas circuit breakers (CB) and gas insulated switchgear (GIS), requires - among others -simulations and experiments for verification of insulation and switching performance. Additionally, the research activities in the area of gas circuit breakers and gas insulated switchgear are enhanced by various computer-aided-engineering tools. The aim of the internship is to contribute to the design, preparation of the test setups, perform simulations, as well as experimental data post-processing and analysis. The superior goal is the achievement of high-end quality of the product. The duration of the internship is 6 to 12 months.
