The opportunity
The Tax Competence Centre specializes in supporting large-scale international projects such as offshore wind farms and HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) installations. With a presence across multiple continents, our projects require meticulous tax planning and compliance to navigate complex international regulations.
How you'll make an impact
- Collaborate with teams in different business units and jurisdictions to gather project information.
- Communicate with tax colleagues from all over the world to gather tax information.
- Initiate and manage tax consultancy from external providers.
- Analyze tax legislations in various jurisdictions and provide tax advice and support to project teams in various stages of projects' lifecycle.
- Develop tax risk mitigation strategies for each project, taking into account business specifics.
- Provide clarifications to project teams and stakeholders on various tax matters

Your background
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or related field and experience in international tax planning and compliance.
- Understanding of permanent establishment concept and risks, international tax treaties and OECD Model Convention.
- Proven track record of managing complex tax issues across multiple jurisdictions, demonstrating strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at explaining complex tax concepts to non-specialists and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic knowledge of VAT and transfer pricing.
- Experience in individual taxation and global mobility is a bonus.
