HSE & Environmental Specialist

We are looking for a passionate and proactive HSE professional to join our team in Spain. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in the field, actively engages with teams on-site, and leads by example. It's more than a technical position; it's a leadership opportunity for someone who can inspire, motivate, and drive real change from the ground up.

You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, working closely with project managers, site managers, and global HSE leaders. Your mission will be to embed a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization, ensuring compliance, driving innovation, and being physically present where it matters most.

• Lead and promote a proactive safety culture across all projects and teams.
• Coordinate and implement HSE plans, audits, and legal compliance reviews.
• Active involvement in construction projects, ensuring the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental measures, particularly in complex or high-risk scenarios such as the expansion of operational facilities.
• Deliver training and coaching to supervisors and project teams.
• Drive incident investigations and lead root cause analysis.
• Monitor and report safety performance, KPIs, and lessons learned.
• Support contractor qualification and safety documentation processes.
• Participate in design reviews and promote Safety by Design principles.
• Lead national HSE initiatives, including Safety Day and committee meetings.

• Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL).
• Proven experience in HSE roles within industrial or construction environments ideally.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local HSE regulations.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish. Any other languages are a plus.
