Join Hitachi Energy and lead the strategic development of the Industrial Engineering Team in the GIS area. The focus is on optimizing production processes, introducing new technologies, transferring products, and supporting the industrialization of innovative products.
How you'll make an impact
- Responsibility for the planning, implementation, and optimization of production processes and layouts
- Introduction of new technologies and automation solutions to increase efficiency
- Support in the industrialization of new GIS products (e.g., EconiQ)
- Collaboration with R&D, Production, Quality, and global engineering teams
- Analysis of production data to identify potential for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with lean principles, occupational safety, and environmental standards
- Budget responsibility and strategic resource planning
- Responsibility for transferring products to other GIS locations
- As a People Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your background
- Completed degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or similar
- Several years of experience in industrial engineering, ideally in a high-voltage or GIS environment
- Leadership experience in a technical field with interdisciplinary teams
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, process automation, and digitalization
- Experience with SAP, MES systems, and production data analysis
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Fluent German and English

Komm zu Hitachi Energy und leite die strategische Entwicklung des Industrial Engineering Teams im GIS-Bereich. Der Fokus liegt auf der Optimierung von Produktionsprozessen, Einführung neuer Technologien, Transferierung von Produkten und Unterstützung bei der Industrialisierung innovativer Produkte.
Das kannst du bewirken
- Verantwortung für die Planung, Umsetzung und Optimierung von Produktionsprozessen und -layouts
- Einführung neuer Technologien und Automatisierungslösungen zur Effizienzsteigerung
- Unterstützung bei der Industrialisierung neuer GIS-Produkte (z. B. EconiQ)
- Zusammenarbeit mit R&D, Produktion, Qualität und globalen Engineering-Teams
- Analyse von Produktionsdaten zur Identifikation von Verbesserungspotenzialen
- Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Lean-Prinzipien, Arbeitssicherheit und Umweltstandards
- Budgetverantwortung und strategische Ressourcenplanung
- Verantwortung für das transferieren von Produkten in andere GIS Standorte
- Als Führungskraft trägst du die Verantwortung für die Einhaltung aller relevanten externen und internen Vorschriften, Prozesse und Richtlinien
Dein Hintergrund
- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Industrial Engineering, Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder vergleichbar
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Industrial Engineering, idealerweise im Hochspannungs- oder GIS-Umfeld
- Führungserfahrung in einem technischen Bereich mit interdisziplinären Teams
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in Lean Manufacturing, Prozessautomatisierung und Digitalisierung
- Erfahrung mit SAP, MES-Systemen und Produktionsdatenanalyse
- Starke Kommunikations- und Projektmanagementfähigkeiten
- Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
