Provides strategic direction, leadership, management and coordination of the relevant function, driving the performance of such function to ensure that all activities meet the required necessities including contractual requirements such as scope and on-time delivery.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Identifying scope of outsourcing working with other departments to manage supplies from an engineering perspective, including analyzing the engineering resource demand for capacity management
- Providing insight, developing and managing priorities for various teams while ensuring activities' performance and quality goals are met during all project phases.
- Assists in the guiding the business in building operational capacity through various people management techniques and strategies, supporting the business in the establishment and deployment of required frameworks.
- Ensures processes are in place to capture and share best practices and operational experiences, including the business strategy support and defining specific processes and tools.

Responsibilities typically include:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 15 plus years of experience in the required field.
- Ownership of short to mid-term (1-3 years) execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the Department.
- Problems faced are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis.
- Requires ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
