The opportunity:
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Product Group Analyst is responsible for analyzing market trends, product performance, and competitive landscape to support the strategic decision-making process within the product group. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure the successful implementation of product strategies.
How you'll make an impact:
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Product Performance: Monitor and analyze the performance of products within the group, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Competitive Intelligence: Gather and analyze data on competitors to inform strategic decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to align product strategies with market needs.
- Data Management: Maintain and update databases related to market and product information.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans for the product group
- Safety and integrity: Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Min 6- 10 yrs previous experience in market research, data analysis, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong ability to analyze data and market trends.
- Proficiency in conducting market and competitive research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and software.
- High level of accuracy in data collection and analysis.
- Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
