In this role you will develop, implement, and manage the commercial strategy for a international accounts headquartered in France, with a focus on generating growth and profitability through the establishment of a partnership, supported by value creation, positive customer experience and satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

  • Understand and monitor the customer business strategy, roadmap and organization with a focus on key players as well as key performance indicators and associated projects
  • Develop a 5-years strategic growth plan for each account and lead a regular execution review across Business Units and Regions, leveraging Hitachi Energy and more broadly Hitachi Group capabilities to address the customer current and future needs
  • Lead a results-oriented Account Team by identifying, engaging, motivating, coaching or mentoring team members
  • Create added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy by ensuring a coordinated sales approach and strategy
  • Sell to the customer products, solutions and services in line with volume, mix and profitability targets
  • Lead the application of standardized Marketing and Sales processes and tools (Salesforce CRM, Account Plan, KPI's, etc.) for the account
  • Monitor competitor activity and ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented
  • Act as the orchestrator between Hitachi Energy Business Units and the customer, facilitating zero distance, driving executive engagement, detecting and solving issues in order to improve the overall ease of doing business for the customer

Your background

  • You hold a University Degree in Engineering or similar.
  • As Global Account Manager, you are likely to have over 10 years' experience of sales and execution of complex projects
  • Demonstrated experience in management of complex customer accounts and international sales strategy
  • Knowledge and experience of some of following would be an advantage: the Hitachi Energy product portfolio, Power generation including Renewables, Transmission & distribution market, Utility customers. Knowledge of Salesforce and Office tools
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills
  • Fluency in English and in French is required.
  • You will be based in Paris region, France.
