Hitachi Energy is seeking a seasoned Sales & Marketing professional to join our PGGI (Power Grids Grid Integration) team in Belgium. This role is focused on project-based sales within the data center and renewable energy sectors, with a strong emphasis on medium-voltage solutions, power quality, transformers, and substation projects.
You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle-from responding to tenders and preparing technical-commercial offers to contract negotiation and handover to project execution teams. This is a senior-level position requiring deep market knowledge, technical expertise, and a proven track record in project sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end sales process for complex infrastructure projects in Belgium.
- Respond to project tenders and customer requests with tailored technical and commercial proposals.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, legal, and tendering teams to define project scope, pricing, and contractual terms.
- Manage existing and mature accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Bundle products and services (MV equipment, transformers, power quality solutions, after-sales services) into comprehensive project offers.
- Work in close coordination with the project execution team for smooth handover and implementation.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the renewable, data center, and high-voltage infrastructure sectors.

Your Background
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in project sales within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong technical background in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience with medium-voltage systems, substations, and grid-connected infrastructure.
- Familiarity with the Belgian energy market and key players.
- Fluent in English; Dutch.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Zaventem, Belgium.
