We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Accounting Specialist who will be responsible for various accounting functions including Manual Journal Entries, Provisions, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Month-end Closing process. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing various general accounting activities, completing specific month-end close tasks, and executing accounting analyses and reports assigned.
As a General Accounting Specialist, you will take part in troubleshooting, process development, idea generation for new processes. You will apply accounting techniques and standard practices to classify and record financial transactions, solving unusual issues as they arise. You will have close cooperation with Business Controllers, Front Offices, and other streams (AP, AR, Master data). Additionally, you will participate in internal control testing and prepare relevant documentation, as well as handling group tools such as ServiceNow, Blackline etc.

How You'll Make an Impact:
- Perform general accounting activities.
- Complete specific month-end close tasks.
- Execute accounting analyses and reports as assigned.
- Ensure the production of reports (e.g., Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, supplementary forms).
- Prepare the closing calendar, fix errors, and adapt existing solutions.
- Apply accounting techniques and standard practices to classify and record financial transactions.
- Collaborate closely with controllers, Front Offices, and other streams (AP, AR, Master data).
- Participate in internal control testing and prepare relevant documentation.
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is an advantage. Or similar aacounting qualification considered (CIMA, ACCA etc)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in General Accounting or General Ledger accounting.
- Practical knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) is preferred.
- Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (functions, pivot tables).
- Proficient in business English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
