General Accounting & Reconciliation Senior Professional

The Opportunity:

An excellent opportunity for a Senior Finance Specialist with experience in the internal trade area and an enthusiasm for continuous improvement. This role will be a key person in the further transformation ongoing in the area of internal trade. We have recently implemented a new global tool for Intercompany reconciliations; just after a new ERP was implemented and an automated solution for Sales Order and Purchase Order matching. We still have a lot of fine tuning ongoing in the process and change management to harmonize process over the globe.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Be part of evaluation and implementation of best practices and continuous optimization of global intercompany processes to gain efficiencies and drive productivity gains
• Govern and administer the global Blackline Intercompany module
• Run and coordinate the global Intercompany monthly closing process
• Run and chair global Intercompany huddles
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement automation and standardization initiatives
• Manage and develop relationships to ensure that processes are well defined, and services delivered as agreed
• Prepare and present trainings for global teams and for business
• Perform analyses and investigations in S4H, Blackline, CIT to support global reconciliations
• Stay up-to-date and understand HE general accounting rules and reporting principes to align the processes
• Ensure that global intercompany processes are designed with full compliance with the Control Framework

• Master's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent work experience
• Good experience in Intercompany process
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Excel & Financial Reporting: Strong spreadsheet skills for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
• Self-motivated and with ability to drive and lead others
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
